How To Host A Bridal Shower Your Friends Will Love

If you are hosting or helping out with a bridal shower it is easy to go down a Pinterest hole and come out with nothing but an empty bottle of wine and boards full of ways to get gum off of a chair (we have all been there)

Watch How To Make This Party:

Coming up with a theme can make any party come together, you see this with kids parties all the time but why give up when we grow up? This bridal shower is inspired by the fabulosity that is high heels by a pool also known as The Beverly Hills Hotel. The classic pink and white contrasted with the iconic green banana leaves are just, EVERYTHING!

Events like bridal showers and baby showers have become Instagram photo op gold mines for guests. So give them what they want beautiful, food, flowers and tables!

Depending on where you live flowers either cost a fortune from a florist or you roll the dice on whatever you can find at your local grocery store, sad-face. Enter Petal Driven, this is your new go-to source for party flowers anywhere. You just go to their site, pick out your blooms and they are shipped DIRECTLY to you from the grower, amaze! You have never seen hydrangeas that are as fresh or roses that last as long, seriously. The flowers for this bridal shower are a mixture of Garden Rose Constance, Alchemilla, Mini Calla Lily, & Viburnum.

To establish the color scheme use a tablecloth that screams Beverly Hills, like pink and white stripe. If you can’t find one “make” it. You can easily buy fabric that is finished on the sides and “hem” the top and bottom using iron-on fusing like stitch witchery. The runner is made with a yard of heavy outdoor fabric and the leaf print is cut out and pieced together in one long line.

The moment the word bride and or wedding enters the picture everyone freaks out and goes on a diet so keep the menu fresh and light. The great thing about this menu is you can make everything ahead and set up a beautiful self serve buffet.  Start with a rainbow crudités platter with whatever veggies look great at the time. This comes together with store bought hummus served in a silver bowl with a drizzle of olive oil and an everything bagle spice mix.

Bridal showers are all about bringing everyone together to celebrate. If you don’t want to plan the whole thing yourself consider enlisting a co host to help make it all happen. I had my friend Sabrina Soto help out with the table setting and a fun DIY favor featured in the video!
